Alfred Sung is a Canadian fashion designer, producing apparel and perfume for men and women. He was born in Shanghai and raised in Hong Kong. Alfred Sung studied couture at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne where he graduated with first place honours. He also studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York
In 1972, he moved to Canada where he first designed for a sportswear manufacturer in Toronto. In 1976, he opened his own shop called Moon.
In 1979, he joined forces with Joseph and Saul Mimran and in the following year formed the Monaco Group Inc. which developed the Alfred Sung label and manufactured it in their own unionized shop. Sung's main aim is to create clean, modern, timeless fashions that offer quality, style, and value and appeal to professional and executive women
In 1988, Alfred Sung launched his first men's fragrance, "Sung Homme," classically designed to partner with "Sung, Alfred Sung."
In the fall of 1995, "Alfred Sung Forever" was launched in North America and in 1997 he introduced, "Pure Alfred Sung," followed, in 1999, by its sibling fragrance, "Pure Moment Alfred Sung" and in the spring of 2000, "Sung Spa."
"Shi Alfred Sung" was launched in the fall of 2000 and is one of the top ranking brands in North America. Alfred Sung's family of fine fragrances is exported to over 50 markets worldwide
As the percentage of aromatic compounds decreases, the intensity and longevity of the scent decrease. It should be noted that different perfumeries or perfume houses assign different amounts of oils to each of their perfumes. As such, although the oil concentration of a perfume is eau de parfum (EDP) dilution will necessarily be higher than the same perfume in eau de toilette (EDT) form, the same trends may not necessarily apply to different perfume compositions much less across different perfume houses
Fragrances are delicate, keep your bottles in a cool place, away from heat, sun and humidity. The presence oxygen in the air that is contained in the bottle will alter the perfume's smell character, eventually distorting them. Be sure to recap your Alfred Sung Fragrance every time. Do not put your fragrance onto your clothes. Apply it directly to your body , let it develop on you
